Yorkie Obsessed, Yorkie Owned...

first of all, welcome yorkie lovers like me (well i think i'm more of a yorkiholic)... it's a pleasure dropping by to meet two furbabies of mine. this page changes alot from time to time .please feel free to explore around and i have posted tons of yorkie-related information to help you take care of your yorkie (esp. if you are planning to show like moi) or to help you decide if the yorkie is the right one for you (if yes then there are stuff here to help you choose your healthy long-term yorkie furbaby). i keep a lot of photos of my yorkies to help you understand the changes they go through from puppyhood to adults (very interesting, indeed!) i also keep an album of our 'yorkie buddies' and i would be delighted to have your yorkie's photo included as well... don't hesitate to contact me!

because of the love of the breed, i have dedicated this multiply account for my yorkies and everything yorkie. while the yorkie community is still young here in manila, i take opportunity to do a little part of promoting the betterment of their breed by providing important information to guide consumers and future owners away from those who sacrifice their health and quality for monetary gains (in short, those who are destroying this beautiful breed for money). if you plan having a yorkie in your life, feel free to read the entries from the journal section to save yourself from shelling out a huge amount of money for a poor quality puppy which might only give you heartaches and huge vet bills (this really happens everywhere so it's better to be smart so you won't be fooled).


hope you don't mind if i just stress this: I DO NOT BREED NOR SELL YORKIES (kindly read even just this part, merci)

though my yorkies are cute, when they fully mature, if they don't conform with standards, they will be spayed/neutered to stay healthy for more than a decade. you can expect a new baby girl added here sometime this year (if i am already ready to do dog shows...) do you have any questions about yorkies? feel free to ask and i am very much happy to help you.

IS THAT A TEACUP YORKIE???

There is no such thing as a "tea cup" yorkie, or poodle, or any other breed. Even if your best friend, or your mother owns one!! They simply do not exist. "Tea-cup" is just a cutesy name give by unethical breeders to drive up the price of their puppies. There is only one kind of "Yorkshire Terrier" that is recognized by the AKC, and that is the Yorkshire Terrier! ... Some yorkies are under 3 pounds, and some are way over the 7 pound limit, but they are all still Yorkshire Terriers. The smaller or larger ones sometimes happen in a litter, but it is not something that good breeders try to produce. The very tiny ones are often frail, and do not have as long of a lifespan as their larger siblings. They often have a multitude of health problems. Who would want to pay more money for that? Other "rare" and EXPENSIVE yorkies are advertised as "red, chocolate, cutesy-faced, doll faced, or baby dolls". If you see these kinds of terms in any breeders ad's or website, be wary of that breeder, who is most likely trying to cheat you."

Our FIRST SHOW ever!

Goober and I had our first show together today at SM Molino. He got WD in R1 and RWD in R2. This was the video of the R2. I had a problem with Goober to walk with me since he was curious about the scents on the carpet and had to run so he'd follow.... more
